We recently ordered a custom knife from Randy Haas of HHH Knives using our stabilized wood for the handle. We chose a beautiful set of blue dyed maple burl scales and are thrilled with the result. The blue burl and polished steel really compliment each other.
The knife is a full tang 440c high carbon stainless steel. Over all length is 8 inches long with a 3 1/2 inch mirror polished hollow ground blade. Blue stabilized maple burl handle, securely attached by stainless and brass star mosaic pins, with stainless lanyard tube. The spine and handle have been file-worked with a vine pattern. “Classy and sexy!”
