Wood Stabilizing Service
Here’s what our customers are saying about our wood stabilizing service
“Overall, I like your process better than others I’ve tried. The stabilization agents seem to have permeated the wood better, and are more solid. Also your process seems to be easier to fabricate and harder to melt than others I’ve tried. I used to dread stabilized woods because it meant a pile of ruined belts clogged with melted goo. Your blanks, while they can be melted, are harder and more resistant to this happening.

A few things you should know about stabilizing wood.
Wood sent to us for stabilization MUST BE DRY to at least 10% moisture content. If it is stabilized with the moisture content higher than 10% it could create problems such as shrinking or cracking.
Stabilizing will not fix cracked or checked wood.
Some of the more dense exotic woods do not require stabilizing and very oily woods and pitchy woods do not stabilize well.
Spalted woods, burls and softer varieties of wood stabilize very well.
